- Object code Machine language code produced by a compiler.

- Online banking method of banking in which transactions are conducted electronically over the Internet.
- Online chat may refer to any kind of communication over the Internet that offers a real-time transmission of text messages from sender to receiver. Chat messages are generally short in order to enable other participants to respond quickly.
- Online news paper This is the online version of a newspaper, either as a stand-alone publication or as the online version of a printed periodical.
- Open-source software (OSS) is a type of computer software with its source code made available with a license in which the copyright holder provides the rights to study, change, and distribute the software to anyone and for any purpose.
- Operating system Software which controls both the hardware and how all the other software works.
- Optical Character Recognition is the electronic conversion of scanned or photographed images of typewritten or printed text into computer-readable text.
- Optical Mark Reader This is a technology that reads hand drawn marks such as small circles or rectangles. Marks are place on forms such as test, survey, questionnaire. or multiple choice exams.
- Output Statement This is a line of instruction written by the programmer to pass on instructions or information to the software user. An output statement may contain any one of the following keywords: Print, Display, Output, Write, Writeln, Show, OUT. The term which is used will depend on the specific programming language.
